The study has brought new knowledge on the dieback intensity in ashes Fraxinus excelsior caused by fungal pathogen  Hymenoscyphus fraxineus, on the ash regeneration potential in forest stands and clearings as well as on the biodiversity of ash  stands in Latvia.
