On behalf of the Scientific Committee, we invite you to attend the 12th Baltic Theriological Conference, organised by the Latvian State Forest Research Institute "Silava", from March 27 to 29, 2025.
Please note that the venue has changed! The Conference will be held at The Environmental Education Centre of the Jaundome manor, Ezernieku parish, Krāslava county.
Due to the pleasant responsiveness of attendees to our preliminary call, the Conference will be held in person only, and we decided to search for a better-suited venue. Although farther away from our capital, Riga, it will introduce you to Latgale – a region in Latvia rich in natural values and local traditions. You will also be able to enjoy traditional Latgale cuisine. Since early spring in Latgale can still be a bit wintry and lunch will be served outside by the fire, bring some warm clothes.
The registration deadline for participants with presentations: December 1, 2024.
The Scientific Committee will evaluate your presentation proposals, and authors will be informed of the decision with full details of the format and timing of the presentations and abstracts by January 15, 2025.
The registration deadline for participants without presentations: January 15, 2025.
Registration fee:
- 100 euros – for participants who registered before July 1.
- 120 euros – for participants registering for the first time.
- Student/PhD student registration fee: 75 euros throughout the registration period.
This fee covers attending all scientific sessions, an abstract book, a certificate of participation upon request, coffee breaks, lunches, and dinners.
