Research assistant of LSFRI "Silava" Ieva Līcīte participated in XXII International Multidisciplinary Scientific GeoConference SGEM on 4–10 July 2022 in Albena (Bulgaria). The focus of the Conference was the various topics on environmental economics, ecology, environmental protection, international relations, legislation and financing in forestry and agriculture.

Ieva Līcīte reported the results of research project Demonstration of climate change mitigation measures in nutrients rich drained organic soils in Baltic States and Finland (LIFE OrgBalt) in the presentation "The mapping of climate and agricultural policies targeting organic soil management: case study from Latvia". Ieva also led one of the Conference sessions – "Ecology and Environmental Protection".
