Researcher of the Genetic Resource Centre of LSFRI "Silava" Baiba Krivmane participated in the meeting of Management committee of COST action CA21157 European Network for Innovative Woody Plant Cloning (COPYTREE), held in Brussels (Belgium) on October 23–25, 2002.

Baiba Krivmane informed the participants of Meeting about the results of study Development of molecular markers for assessment of juvenility during micropropagation of Silver birch (Betula pendula Roth).

Participation in the Management Committee of this COST action gave the opportunity to participate in discussions, development of methods and protocols, workshops, seminars, etc. for the next four years, that way improving the knowledge and experience in the field of molecular genetics and in vitro cultures.
