Young Forest Scientists Award to LSFRI "Silava" researchers – Jānis Liepiņš and Guntars Šņepsts

Today, on April 4, at the annual Spring General Meeting of the Latvian Academy of Sciences, for the first time the Young Forest Scientists Award by JSC Latvijas Finieris, the Latvian Academy of Sciences and LSFRI "Silava" will be presented to two researchers of LSFRI "Silava" – Guntars Šņepsts for his research in the development of the Latvian forest resource forecasting and modelling system and Jānis Liepiņš for his research in the development of forest biomass models.
