Researcher of LSFRI "Silava" Daiga Zute at the event of European Climate Pact "Climate Workshop for Youth"

Coordinators of European Climate Pact together with the Jūrmala State Municipality organised an event "Climate workshop for young people" on May 16. One of the Climate Pact ambassadors in Latvia is Researcher of LSFRI "Silava" Daiga Zute.

The aim of the event was to encourage young people to think about climate change and the environment around them, as well as to encourage them to get involved and implement environmental and climate-related initiatives themselves. Therefore the participants were task to identify environmental problems in Jūrmala and to give solutions to tackle them. Daiga Zute was one of the three members of commission who evaluated the young people's performance.
