The aim of the study is to ensure a sustainable and balanced supply of birch logs for the wood industry and to increase the CO2 capture potential of Latvian forests. The specific aim of study is to develop an economic activity support model for the establishment of short-cut birch veneer block plantations in non-forest lands.
