Project partners are CMD Ltd. (leading partner), MetWorks Ltd., MASYSTEMS Ltd., Berrypark Ltd., Ingka Investments Management Ltd., AF "Kalniņi" and LSFRI "Silava".
The Project will develop and test an innovative planting machine that combines soil preparation, planting spot creation, and seedling planting in a single operation. Activity 1 focuses on defining the machine's functions and components, evaluating existing market solutions, and developing a testing plan. Activity 2 involves building and calibrating the prototype, ensuring compatibility with tractor equipment, and adjusting technical components. Activity 3 includes field testing the prototype with various large-sized tree and berry seedlings during spring and autumn planting seasons, assessing work quality, efficiency, and universal adaptability.
