LSFRI "Silava" scientists – senior researcher Zane Lībiete and research assistant Edgars Jūrmalis – participated in 11th International Conference on Monitoring and Management of Visitors in Recreational and Protected Areas (MMV11) "Behavioural changes of outdoor and landscape recreational consumption in Global Green Deal context" on September 19–22, 2022.

Edgars Jūrmalis presented the report "Outdoor recreation in forest areas and related management challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic in Latvia (2020–2021)" within the framework of the conference.

One day of the Conference was devoted to study trips to several natural areas, actively used for recreation. "Silava's" researchers visited Ķemeri National Park to get to know more about recreational facilities and infrastructure.
